I would like to pay tribute to my grandmother who started looking into our family history and gathering pictures in 1924.

Born January 18, 1888 in Anderson County, Kansas, she died Dec. 1984 in Seiling Oklahoma.
She is buried in Sophia Cemetery, Beaver County, Oklahoma beside her husband Walter Clyde Mahaffey whom she married on July 15, 1908 in Beaver County, Oklahoma. She was the mother of five children.

Beginning at 13, She modeled hats in Kansas City for her Aunt Josephine Matteson.
Because of her my grandmother Biggs and my mother began researching my father's line.
