Death of Isaac L. Matteson

The death of Isaac L. Matteson occurred Thursday at his home on Gravel Street after a long illness. He was the son of Uriah S. and Betsy Moon Matteson, and was born Jan 6, 1847, at Conimicut, R.I. He leaves to mourn his loss, beside a wife, one daughter, Mrs. Walter Arnold, of Mystic, Two brothers, Charles of Conimicut, and Dexter of Hope Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Melissa Phillips of Conimicut and Mrs. Mary Cherry of Crompton, R.I.

There will be prayer at the house Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, and the funeral services will be held in Hope Valley with burial in Pine Grove cemetery.
